Grimm's Fairy Tales
This is a Puffin competition brief, my idea came from the fact that there is plenty of Grimm's Fairy Tales, hence the 7 books whom spines create an image. An idea for the illustration came from the fact that even though those fairy tales are for kids, they still include some grim, violent elements. I have decided to make a front cover a good side of Grimm's fairy tales, while the back cover is the evil side, with witches, fear and blood. Also, the thing with fairy tales is the fact that they are loved, people come back to them, hence the old, used look of the books.
